I am quite taken by the cover of this graphic novel, so I got curious about it. From the summary, I gather that it is a kind of YA Graphic Novel, something I haven't had a chance of reading before. Besides if Neil Gaiman calls it a "Masterpiece", I'm pretty sure it is. 
I like the cleanliness of Vera Brogsol's illustrations.

    Hi Chachic! I've read nothing but good things about it too. I'm drawn to it because it is more YA, a coming of age story of Anya. With the supernatural/horror stuff being less intense. :D

If you follow/frequent her blog, you'd know that she is a huge fan of Whalen's The Thief Series. Being a fantasy fan myself, I've put in The Thief in my (very long) book wish list. Top Ten Series I'd Like To Start But Haven't Yet
